Resident Meetings

St Johns’ weekly resident meetings offers a platform for those residing at the hostel to have a voice and help develop a positive environment for all residents of the hostel.

The Resident Meeting offers a weekly platform, within a group environment, for Residents to exchange their own experience of living in the AP, to discuss any suggestions or issues, and to assist engagement with the RA programme. Attendance is mandatory and aims to collaborate staff and residents in achieving the same goal – a safe and supportive environment.

Local partnership agencies are invited to residents’ meetings to introduce their organisation to the residents and offer support both whilst they are residing at the AP and after they have moved on. Services that attend regularly include Drug & Alcohol services, Accommodation services, Employment Services, and Health services such as Opticians and GP.
